Joy writ everywhere . . .
Not least in the good company of wisdom, carried home one autumn in the guise of this gold-threaded owl from Oxford, said to be inspired by the Medieval Owl from The Ashmole Bestiary in the Bodleian Libraries collection, made in England c. 1210.
May joy and wisdom be written indelibly upon your heart, as this year gives way to another in due course.
